Callum Vibert comes from Bournemouth in
the south of England. After graduating in Economics and Management at the
University of Oxford, he first came to China to study a Master's course at
Zhejiang University on a scholarship in 2013. Since graduating from that
program he taught Economics in an international high school in Hangzhou, and
now teaches Economics, Maths, History and Debate at Huawei. His main hobbies
are sport and travel.
Dow is from USA. Dow earned a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Trinity College, a Master degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. in the philosophy of Education from the Kingdom Institute International in Ohio. Dow has taught as a professor at college and the high school. He has been the head administrator of schools in EL Salvador USA and China. He has travelled to over 30 countries and has been involved with education in most of them. Dow and Cindee have 3 children and 4 grandchildren; one of his favorite things is camping with his grandchildren. He has a passion for helping people to be everything that they were created to be.
Cindee is from USA. She earned a B.A. in Education from Trinity College in North Dakota. Cindee has taught in a variety of countries and variety of grade levels. Through the years she has also serviced as a guidance counselor and vice principal. Cindee believes that learning is not confined just to the classroom but can be found in everyday experiences. She believes that morals and values are highly important in teaching students. She loves reading and spending time with her four grandchildren.
Esther is from Namibia. Esther earned her B.S. degree in Natural resources from the University of Namibia. Soon after graduation, she came to China where she first did a one year Mandarin course and then a Master’s degree in Marine Science. Upon completing her Master’s program, Esther continued at the same university with her Ph.D. in Aquaculture. Apart from teaching, she finds pleasure in sharing and encouraging her students because she believes that learning is not just inside the classroom.
Johnathan was born and raised in Virginia USA. He earned a B.S. in physic from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then went to the University of South Carolina where he continued his studies and also taught mathematics. After university he worked as a cognitive psychology researcher. He is an avid reader, enjoys traveling and loves learning new things everyday.
Alexander is from Canada and has had a passion for history and literature since he was a child. He earned a B.A. degree in History and Literature from the University of British Columbia and a Master’s degree in History from the university of Alberta. His University experience cemented his love of history, continually fed his passion for learning and sparked his interest in teaching. After completing his degrees, he started teaching English for adults in Montreal, then later he began teaching in the high school foreign exchange program. This is Alexander’s second year of teaching here in China. In his spare time he likes to play the guitar, sing and climb mountains.
Andy is from Uganda formerly a British colony and English is his first language and he was a player of Uganda national basketball team. He is well organized and a qualified English teacher with a lot of teaching experience. He likes sports, basketball, football and volleyball. He has traveled to Egypt, Denmark, Sweden and South Korea. He has a great passion for teaching and always gone with students for traveling, visiting museum, debates and sports game.
Keith is from Australia. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia and an Honours Degree with a double major in English Literature and Theatre Studies (Drama) from Curtin University in Western Australia. He has taught English Literature and Drama in Western Australia to high school student and adults. He has also taught primary students in the Northern Territory in Australia and also in Thailand. He loves English Literature, Poetry, Music and Performing on stage. He has had the lead role in many theatre productions and short films in Australia. His favorite productions were Oliver and Les Miserables. He also enjoys playing guitar and singing.He also believes that all students can achieve great things.
